Steve Krenz

Steve Krenz is a trained musician with a lot of experience. He has got a degree in music that ensures an extensive study in music. What better way to learn than to learn from someone who already knows. He also possesses a wide professional playing experience, including having played guitar with a symphony orchestra. He is part of a church music program, and has played in several big jazz bands. Some of the artists he worked with are Grammy winning artists, such as Donna Summer, The Fifth Dimension, Israel Houghton, and Tommy Sims (which is a renowned bass player who has worked with Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton).

Krenz is also a studio musician and has recorded guitar work for campaigns (Coldwater Banker, Prudential, and World Cyber Games). He has got experience in performing with country music artists such as Brian White (a platinum selling country music artist), Darlene Zschech & Hillsong, the Katrinas, Jonathan Pierce, Ron Kenoly, and Don Moen – these last two artists are GMA Dove Award winners. Another of his works include recording professionally in Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee.

Steve Krenz is not only an artist with playing skills; he has also published several articles on musicianship and its various aspects of excellence. Along with his publications, he has done several workshops about music and guitar playing in the United States, New Zealand, and South America (Peru). As we can see, he is a versatile artist with many skills.

Furthermore, as an accomplished guitarist with a varied experience in playing, he decided to teach and train other guitarists. He has worked with several people in a wide range of skill levels. He is a passionate educator who helped several players to accomplish what they wanted, being it mastering an acoustic guitar or another type of guitar, in several genres, from rock to blues, jazz and even R&B and hip-hop.

Putting together all this extensive experience, Steve Krenz created a course called Learn & Master Guitar, which is a program indicated to all kinds of levels, from beginners to intermediate guitar players. This course is basically a step-by-step program in which Krenz gives lessons, tips, and he shows how to play the guitar, among other things. It includes many types of styles (blues guitar, acoustic guitar, classical guitar, jazz guitar, and so on), and several topics, such as Foundation Techniques, Basic and Advanced Chords, Reading Music and Tabs, Advanced Electric Techniques, etc. The program consists of 20 DVDs of approximately 40 hours in total, Jam along CDs, and a lesson workbook.
